MUJI INFUSED WITH A SCANDINAVIAN TOUCH

Property Type: Condominium
Location: 495 Seasons Park
Property Size: 116 sqm

Enveloped in clean lines and a soothing colour palette, this muji-scandi home channels Japanese minimalist vibes that keep the atmosphere calm for the mind and the eyes. Subtle colours and natural materials—including a lot of wood and glasses—are preferred to create a neat and zen aesthetic.

The built-in carpentry provides ample storage space for a clutter-free home, keeping in line with the clean-cut style of the theme while blending in with the overall design. We’ve spruced up the functionality of the area by adding a glass partition between the kitchen and the living area, giving it a bright, airy, and modern sense of versatility.

Visually tidy, airy, and functional, we’ve proved that the muji-scandi theme is anything but ordinary!

DESIGNER'S PERSPECTIVE

The owner’s expectations were straightforward: clean, simple, and building off of the foundational white colour.

We sought to fuse the essence of zen living with a hint of the modern simplicity that the Scandinavian interior style brings. This made the choices for complimenting colours and carpentry pretty straightforward as we kept to clean and neat designs with uniform lines.

With this style, less is more. We went to ground the theme with a warm colour palette, keeping the designs and cabinetry functional and straightforward. The heart of the home was created by effortlessly fusing the semi-open kitchen with the dining room, maximizing the functionality of the area.
