DESIGNER'S PERSPECTIVE

Houses of today have to be catered to the functionality of a family home while keeping to a timeless design. The owners were looking for a grey and black themed concept that was uniquely their own, with elements that maximized the use of the area without making it cluttered.

Taking into account the preference for space and efficiency, we’ve focused more on opening up the area using a clever combination of negative space and natural light. The strategic addition of colours and textural designs in areas also gives the monochromatic palette an edge, breathing life into the theme.

Storage space was also a top priority for the owners, especially in the rooms where we had to balance space with aesthetics. We included a variety of built-in spaces, from the cabinets in the kitchen to convenient compartments in the living room and bedrooms.
